Need White Teeth Scam: Lucent Whites

Beware of teeth whitener Lucent Whites! The heavily advertised trial may lead to higher monthly charges and hidden fees! Read more here!

Consumer Tips Weekly has a story about Cathy from Santa Cruz who found a teeth whitening solution online that made her teeth whiter and saved her money as well. Cathy used trial samples of two teeth whitening products which was her secret to whiter teeth. Further, Cathy claims that these samples were cheaper than visiting the dentist or buying products at the store.

Be careful with stories like these. The websites that promote teeth whitening products like Lucent White are not news sites. And the stories are are not telling the whole story about buying many teeth whitening products online. There are often hidden fees and expensive monthly charges when buying teeth whiteners online.

The story for Lucent White has several links to the product on the story page. Visitors clicking on these links are taken to a sign up form for a trial sample of Lucent White. There are even codes for discounts for shipping and handling for the "free trials" of the product.

However, at the bottom of the page is small print which has the real charges carefully hidden from view.

Here is what we find there..
